The Tesla horn is a warning signal that is ideally used infrequently. With some manufacturers, such as Tesla, it can also signal the locking and unlocking of the vehicle. Beyond that, however, the horn has no function - so it's stupid if it sees it differently itself.
What can you do if the Tesla honks when stationary?
Das Problem
When the Model 3 is stationary, the vehicle is said to honk briefly for no apparent reason.
Lösungsvorschläge
The first suspects here are the guard mode and the honking when unlocking. Therefore, check whether these functions are switched on and whether they are the trigger. If this is not the case, you should exclude any external access.
Consider who all has access to the vehicle (e.g. B. via the app), deactivate third-party software and change the password for your Tesla account - lest someone else play a trick on you.
If none of this helps, you can make a service appointment with Tesla. Then a ranger comes by to investigate the problem and, if in doubt, change the horn.
How to make an appointment is explained here .
