Tesla test drive costs

Test drives at Tesla are generally free. The vehicle is fully charged upon pickup. Since it's impossible to completely drain the battery in half an hour, you don't have to pay for charging.

However, if you want to drive the vehicle for longer than 30 minutes, you'll need to rent it from Tesla (or other providers). This is usually not exactly cheap, but it can definitely be worthwhile to gain a deeper understanding of its everyday usability, range, and comfort.

If you want to drive a Tesla model for an entire weekend, your only option is to rent one. However, Tesla usually offers shorter, free test drives on weekends as well. Due to the naturally higher demand, it can be difficult to get an appointment.
