In addition to music streaming such as Spotify, various video streaming portals such as YouTube, Netflix and Twitch are integrated into the Tesla entertainment system as standard.
In combination with the large display, these make charging breaks fly by, especially if the display is also well protected and clean.
But what if the services don't want to work?
Netflix Tesla Model 3 does not work
The problem with opening Netflix and co Some users receive the message "Only available in parking mode" when connected to a mobile smartphone hotspot, even though this is exactly what they have inserted.
Rather annoying, because watching YouTube in a Tesla has a certain charm and is an ideal way to pass the time.
The solution: It's not the Tesla Model 3 entertainment system
As has become apparent over time, the problem only occurs when the hotspot used to connect the Tesla to the internet is established via certain Samsung smartphone models.
All other cell phones, however, seem to work. YouTube and co. worked again on the affected models as soon as the " Protected Management Frames" (PMF) function was activated in the hotspot configuration.
Then nothing stands in the way of an entertaining charging session.
