In addition to the famous Sentry Mode, a Tesla is also equipped with an extensive alarm system that constantly monitors the vehicle interior. Actually a practical thing, if it weren't for the occasional false alarm caused by a fly or similar creature that has strayed into the vehicle.
And since Tesla is also about comfortand nobody likes to deal with false alarms, the question arises as to whether the interior monitoring system can be switched off.

The answer is unfortunately: Not permanently. Although you can deactivate the "Tilt/break-in" function in the settings, which switches off the Tesla interior camera and the ultrasonic sensors, they will be active again after the next journey.
A permanent solution is therefore only to mask the sensors on the cross strut under the glass roof and cover the Tesla camera in the interior - and the latter also protects your privacy.
