Teslas are becoming increasingly present on the roads of Germany and the world, with sales figures constantly rising towards new records. For many private buyers, leasing is the method of choice for acquiring a Tesla.
In view of the technical progress and numerous financial benefits offered by subsidy programs, electric cars are no longer just private toys for technology enthusiasts, but are also ideal as company cars. So it's no wonder that various dealers also offer Tesla company leasing. You can find out what you need to know here.
Tesla commercial leasing: advantages
As with any vehicle lease, Tesla commercial leasing also offers you various advantages such as low costs, elimination of residual value risk and flexibility thanks to a guaranteed return at the end of the leasing period.
However, there are also a few advantages that speak specifically in favor of purchasing an electric car as a company/service car. First of all, you receive an environmental bonus from the German government, which can amount to up to €9,000 until the end of 2022 and which you can use as a down payment for the lease. In addition, some federal states have launched additional electric car subsidy programs for commercial customers.
A special feature of Tesla leasing is also the increased flexibility due to the possibility of ending the lease early, - depending on the market situation even without additional costs.
The biggest advantage, however, is probably that electric company cars only have to be taxed at 0.25% or 0.5% (over 60,000 gross list price) of the gross list price. In the case of a combustion engine, 1% of the price is charged.
Tesla commercial leasing costs
But let's get to the most important question: What will a Tesla business lease cost you and which models can you lease? In principle, all four models (S,3,X,Y) are available for leasing. Of course, the costs vary depending on the provider - and are not always a bargain. Depending on the configuration, a Model S can cost a good €2000 net per month directly from Tesla.
Tesla Model 3 Leasing Commercial vs. Tesla Model Y Leasing Commercial
For most company cars, the more affordable Model 3 and Model Y are therefore more likely to be considered, which usually remain below the important €60,000 list price mark. Tesla's basic version of the former costs €534/month (36-month term) or €463/month (48-month term) with a mileage of 10,000 kilometers per year and a down payment of €5,000.
The basic version of the Model Y is available under the same conditions for €570/month (36-month term) or €494/month (48-month term). For the longer-range version, these prices increase to €625 and €540 respectively. Of course, all prices are net prices and are subject to constant fluctuations. You should therefore always check current conditions directly on the US car manufacturer's website .
Tesla company leasing offers
Tesla is not always the cheapest provider, however; attractive offers from third-party providers often appear. Extras such as a trailer coupling, larger rims or a different paint finish can be selected to the same extent as from Tesla itself. Over the total term, this can save a few euros compared to leasing from Tesla.
