I ordered the Premium Sound System and had it installed in Amorbach. What can I say.
Both the installation and the handling were simply superb.
It was totally worth it. Significantly more bass and very powerful, the treble sounds very clear even at high volumes.
The only thing to remember is that you can't turn it up all the way, otherwise the amplifier will probably cut out, but this is normal as there is more power. But it goes almost all the way. But you can't really stand that :-)
The installation was also very professional and the on-site instruction was exemplary!
I think it was totally worth it!

The set really packs a punch and is good in the low frequencies. Good for those who are simply looking for more bass.
The support of Moritz from Teslabs should definitely be emphasized. He always responded quickly and tried to help me as much as possible. I would like to thank you for that.
BUT:
Unfortunately, in my opinion, the mids are totally lacking, and I can't recommend the set for audiophiles at all. I have been practicing myself for 20 years in a 1. Great harmony music and unfortunately I have to say that I was totally disappointed with the system! It is very lacking in the region of trombone, French horn and generally in the region of medium and low vocals, which deprives the system of volume in many musical genres. That's not much fun. I had clearly expected better from a premium system, especially in this price range. I had at least expected the set to be better than the original speakers. Apart from the bass, however, the original speakers from my Tesla sound much better tuned to me.
So the premium sound system on offer here didn't sound good to me, so I removed it after less than seven days and sold it again.

The right of return for buyers from non-EU countries is excluded. The 30-day money-back guarantee does not apply to us. Unfortunately, there was no goodwill either.

About 6 months ago, I upgraded the speaker set by approx. 900€ purchased.
The installation was not quite so easy, but everything still worked very well.
The sound is much better than before. The bass is tighter and more powerful and the treble (vocals) even more transparent. In my opinion, it was totally worth it. 👍👍👍

The upgrade has proven to be very worthwhile.. The sound is much clearer and finer in the treble range. The bass is very powerful (I reduced it slightly with the equalizer) and crisp. The new sound is a real joy! The installation in Amorbach went extremely well.
With this clear sound, both for music and speech, I can finally turn the system up relatively loud even when my partner is in the car with me. That was not the case before.

A month ago I received the speakers from Teslabs.
They were, at least at that time, the most favorable for this upgrade.
I was skeptical whether I would be able to hear the difference so clearly, especially as it does cost quite a bit of money.

Since screwing on cars is part of my job, I had everything installed within 2 hours and was also able to take two "shortcuts" during assembly/disassembly. During installation, I kept the radio running and replaced speaker after speaker and was surprised that the sound of the single speaker didn't sound much better than the old one.
But once you've replaced everything, you can be really happy!

The original Tesla speakers don't sound bad, but now everything sounds much fuller and if you like to listen loudly, you'll be surprised that the wing mirrors can suddenly start to vibrate. If you compare the magnets of the original speakers with the new speakers, then you know that Tesla has made considerable savings. It probably wouldn't have cost much more to install good things right away, but Elon likes to save money.

I didn't tell my girlfriend about the conversion and the next day she just said that the sound system at Tesla already sounded good and whether there had been a software update to make it sound so good.
Just smiled and explained that it wasn't an update, but an upgrade.

Thanks to Moritz from Teslabs for kindly answering my questions and also to the colleagues who put this set together. I also spoke to them on the phone and they explained that they had tried many speaker combinations to get it to sound the way it does.

The individual speakers bought together on the Internet cost almost as much as this set and then you still don't have the special tools that are included, neither the adapter plates for the speakers that you need, nor the support.

If you think the original speakers in the Tesla sound good, you haven't tried this set yet!
