In comparative tests with original Model S rims, the air mass moved by the Tesla New Aero rims was up to 30% lower, resulting in up to 9.9% less drag on the vehicle.
Tesla The New Aero rims have increased the range by between 2 and 7%, which could mean over 40 kilometers more. In addition, less air movement at the wheels leads to less driving noise, which makes traveling in the Model S even more comfortable.

Model S 2012-2020
The New Aero Tesla Model S rims are four different rims, as the position (directional, 8.5x21'' on the front axle, 9.0x21'' on the rear axle) plays a role in the assembly. If 21 inches is too big for you, the Model S Razor rim in the Smooth Stealth version is also available with a 19-inch diameter.
All four 21-inch wheels have ECE certification issued in Italy for the vehicle construction years 2012-2020 and can therefore be used without additional registrations in all member states (including the EU). EU, Switzerland, Norway) can be used. The 19-inch rim has a German ABE including TÜV certificate and an Italian NAD for the same model years.
All New Aero rims have been specially developed for Tesla models and are therefore quick and easy to fit. The original Tesla wheel nuts can be used, and the center cap with the Tesla logo also fits. This way, you won't encounter any major difficulties when you buy The New Aero rims - the only thing you can expect is an unbeatable design
