T-slot adapter

Many roof racks from FARAD roof racks are T-slot roof bars, meaning they have a T-shaped slot running lengthwise. A roof box can be securely screwed into this slot using the roof box adapter. Two adapters are inserted into the front and two into the rear roof bars, providing a fixing point for each of the four corners of the roof box.

This T-slot roof box mounting system is particularly aerodynamic, thus conserving range. Furthermore, its relatively complex screw fastening provides increased theft protection. Installation is simple and quick: simply insert the adapters with the long piece facing upwards into the roof rack slots, place the roof box on top, and tighten it with an M8 nut inside the roof box.

The T-slot adapters are especially practical if you plan to leave the roof box on your vehicle for an extended period. Try it out – you've never mounted a roof box more easily.

Even in a roof box, securing the load is paramount. While using bags inside the roof box to secure individual items is a good idea, it's even better to protect the roof box bags themselves – especially if the roof box isn't fully loaded.

The elastic securing net is ideal for this purpose; it can be easily stretched over various objects and fixed them in place. Of course, individual items can also be stored under the net if you don't have any more bags available for the roof box.
