Tesla Model 3/Y: Rear view camera cover
Every Tesla driver knows it: When driving it starts to rain and seconds later the error message pops up on the display that the view of the cameras is restricted.
The Tesla reversing camera cover puts an end to this. The high-quality cover is fitted directly over the rear camera. Thanks to its hydrophobic surface, rainwater simply rolls off - the camera remains protected and clean.
The transparent side allows an undisturbed view through the camera lens.
The cover is made of high-quality materials and is extremely durable. This means it can reliably withstand outdoor use. The manufacturer recommends using it for approx. 4-6 months. After that, the cover should be replaced due to the diminishing water repellency.

Note: The cover does not fit on new Model Y with HW4. These have a larger camera and a protective lip. Please make sure that your Model Y does not have hardware 4 equipment before ordering.
Montage:
- Clean the surface thoroughly. Ensure that the area is sufficiently clean and dust-free. Use pure alcohol, for example, for degreasing. This step is extremely important to ensure that the cover adheres well.
- Carefully remove the protective film from the cover.
- Press it firmly onto the vehicle over the rear view camera and apply pressure for a few minutes.
