Tesla Model 3/Y: Charging socket cover
This cover protects the charging socket of your Model 3 or Model Y from wind and weather. When purchasing a Tesla, no cover is included in addition to the charging flap.
This carries the risk of dirt, dust and water getting in while driving, which could damage the charging port.
With our custom-fit rubber cover, the charging port of your Model 3 or Model Y is hermetically sealed and safe even in harsh weather conditions.
The charging port cover consists of a part that covers the upper and lower area of the charging port. If you only use the lower connection, you can simply fold down the upper part of the cover.

Easy to attach, protects
The cover fits and thus protects the charging port well from dirt and moisture. So it does what it is supposed to do.
The cover sits very well in the charging port, but the rubber is very thick (which is actually good) and therefore ensures that the charging flap is no longer completely flush. A sure instinct is always required here, because the tailgate sometimes does not close "recognizably".
Really pleased, to have found the cover at Teslabs, as Tesla does not yet have anything comparable from the factory. Does its job as described and you wouldn't want to be without it!
