"Accelerating the transition to sustainable energy."
This is Tesla's goal. In line with this philosophy, we at Teslabs also strive to create a sustainable, environmentally conscious store experience. Anyone who opts for electromobility today is showing great awareness for our planet. To support this sustainable action, we donate 1 euro to sustainable projects for every order received.

Plastic pollution in the world's oceans is one of the biggest modern environmental problems facing humanity. On the one hand, plastic pollution in the oceans is threatening a gigantic ecosystem consisting of vast quantities of animals and plants.
It is also becoming dangerous for humanity, as microplastics are steadily accumulating in the water supply and in fish. If this is consumed by humans, it can cause serious damage and illness in the long term.
The Ocean Cleanup has set itself the goal of ridding the world's oceans of plastic. The project was founded in 2013 by Dutchman Boyan Slat. With a complex, huge, U-shaped system, plastic can be collected from up to 3 meters below the water surface.
However, the project not only tackles the oceans where plastic is already present, but also aims to prevent its accumulation in the seas. This is done with so-called interceptor systems, which are used in heavily polluted rivers to collect the plastic before it finds its way into the oceans. According to The Ocean Cleanup, 1.000 rivers (approx. 1 percent) around 80 percent of plastic pollution. Slat and his team want to equip all these rivers with interceptor systems within five years.
The plastic collected through river and ocean cleaning is processed by The Ocean Cleanup into everyday products that are sold as part of the project and the proceeds of which are used to fund the work.
It's also worth noting that The Ocean Cleanup helped create the first universal standard that discloses how much collected ocean plastic a product actually contains. Consumers can transparently track how the plastic is collected, recycled and processed.
PLANT-MY-TREE
Global warming is already having a noticeable negative impact on the Earth - polar ice caps are melting and extreme weather events are becoming more frequent. Greenhouse gases emitted by mankind are one of the main causes of climate change. CO2 in particular, which is emitted through the heavy use of fossil fuels such as lignite or crude oil, is a major driver.
Reforestation in the form of trees is one of the most helpful methods in combating climate change. Trees have the ability to bind and store CO2 and thus keep it out of the atmosphere. The greenhouse effect can therefore be reduced.
PLANT-MY-TREE is an organization from Germany that is committed to sustainable reforestation. The TÜV-certified project plants trees only in Germany, creates accessible forests and thus ensures regional and transparent planting.
As the project operates in Germany, numerous jobs will also be created here. PLANT-MY-TREE is committed to initial afforestation, the conversion and protection of forests and forest regeneration. In this way, holistic climate protection can be achieved through reforestation.
How it works
When you order something from Teslabs, we donate 1 euro to one of the projects, regardless of the order value. If you have a preference as to where the donation should go, you are welcome to indicate this in the order note. Otherwise, the donation will be made at random to either The Ocean Cleanup or PLANT-MY-TREE.
Would you like proof of your donation? Simply send us an email to support@teslabs.de mit with your order number and we will be happy to send you proof of your donation.
