Anyone traveling in a Tesla is surrounded by software and hardware that is so advanced that one often simply ignores the simple and mundane aspects of driving, trusting that the technology will take care of it.
Unfortunately, technology is sometimes not as advanced as one might expect, which is why there are still some issues even at Tesla. Tips and tricks Things to consider. One example: daytime running lights.
Tesla's automatic headlights are not perfect – a fine is possible
Almost every Tesla driver has their headlights set to "Automatic." Why would you do anything else? After all, the automatic system now switches between daytime running lights, low beams, and high beams all by itself – thankfully, the days of having to remember to turn your lights on before driving and off again afterward are over.
But beware: even this assistant isn't perfect. Especially when it's not necessarily dark, but bad weather still restricts visibility, Tesla's automatic headlights often fail to switch from daytime running lights to low beams. This is not only dangerous – the taillights remain off – but also illegal and therefore subject to a fine.
Unfortunately, this problem cannot be solved by Accesories This issue can still be resolved by adjusting the (non-adjustable) sensitivity of the automatic headlights. In bad weather, the low beams must therefore be switched on manually, just as before.
