Many of Tesla's vehicle features are well thought out and implemented, with numerous practical functions installed as standard. Thanks to the autopilot, the car even drives itself sometimes - but there are still a few flaws that you have to work on yourself to fix. We present five of them.

Many of the Tesla flaws are not obvious at first glance. However, with the right tips and tricks and useful accessories, they can be rectified quickly and easily.
1. The ventilation slots on Model Y and Model 3
On Model 3 and Model Y, the ventilation slot under the front seats is very susceptible to the ingress of foreign objects such as dirt, stones, coins or other small parts. Under certain circumstances, these foreign objects can cause damage to the battery pack underneath, resulting in costly repairs.
The solution: a custom-fit ventilation grille that keeps the ventilation slot clear. At Teslabs, we are the first store to also offer matching grilles for the Model Y Standard Range from Grünheide, which has a different ventilation outlet.
2. Tesla Model 3 and Y: Danger when changing tires
Due to the battery pack in the floor of the Model Y, lifting the vehicle with a jack or lifting platform is quite risky - especially since Tesla does not supply suitable jack pads and many workshops do not have them in stock. Slipping off the mounting points can result in expensive battery damage. This is remedied by the precisely fitting jack adapters from Teslabs, which make the next Tesla tire change child's play.
3. Tesla Model 3/Y problems: Cover for the charging port
The charging port on the Tesla Model 3 and Y is covered by the charging flap, but this cannot completely prevent the ingress of water and dirt. In the worst case scenario, this could damage the charging connection.
The Teslabs charging socket cover made of rubber seals the connection securely and thus ensures safety even in harsh weather conditions. If you usually only use one part of the charging port, you can simply fold down the matching part of the cover.
4. Tesla Model Y problems: The interior camera
It is essential for the guard mode, but sometimes questionable when it comes to data protection: the interior camera in the Model Y and Model 3. It may happen that the recordings are sent to Tesla and processed there.
However, there is a very simple way to regain control of your privacy: The camera cover from Teslabs. This is simply stuck over the lens and the sliding mechanism allows you to decide for yourself when something can be seen through the camera and when the image remains black.
5. Not just a Tesla Model 3 problem: the cup holders
The cup holders in the center console of every Tesla are practical, but unfortunately inadequately dimensioned. Most drinks wobble in it, which increases the risk of an "accident".
