5 Tesla flaws – and how you can solve them

Many vehicle features in Teslas are well-thought-out and implemented, with numerous practical functions included as standard. Thanks to Autopilot, the car even sometimes drives itself – and yet there are some flaws that still require manual intervention. We present five of them.

1. The air vents on the Model Y and Model 3

In the Model 3 and Model Y, the air vent under the front seats is very susceptible to the ingress of foreign objects such as dirt, stones, coins, or other small items. These foreign objects can potentially damage the underlying battery pack, resulting in costly repairs.

2. Tesla Model 3 and Y: Danger when changing tires

Due to the battery pack being located in the floor of the Model Y, lifting the vehicle with a jack or lift is quite risky – especially since Tesla doesn't supply suitable jack pads and many workshops don't have them in stock. 3. Tesla Model 3/Y Problems: Charging Port Cover
